Caterpillar

Hibiscus
Here in the Philippines, Hibiscus is popularly known as Gumamela. It is best described as Island Flower Plant since it grows anywhere across the country. This type of flowering plant belongs to mallow family, Malvaceae and has over 200 known species. Accordingly, the leaves of this flowering plant are alternate, ovate to lanceolate, often with a toothed or lobed margin while the flowers are large, conspicuous, trumpet-shaped, with five or more petals, color from white to pink, red, orange, purple or yellow, and from 4–18 cm broad. Above photo is an example of Gumamela in yellow color petals with red spot in the center of the flower.

Hantik Overload
Weaver ants (hantik)are obligately arboreal and are known for their unique nest building behavior where workers construct nests by weaving together leaves using larval silk. Colonies can be extremely large consisting of more than a hundred nests spanning numerous trees and contain more than half a million workers.
